Since the Democratic reform, the establishment of the local people’s democratic governments and the foundation of the Tibetan Autonomous Region in 1965, the Tibetan people have achieved the right to participate in the management of state affairs on an equal footing. They have become masters of their own local social affairs and have taken control of their own destiny. The Tibetan people have created and taken ownership of the social material wealth and spiritual wealth of Tibet.
