On July 6, 2020, Wang Yang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, visited a Tibetan’s home in Guojia village’s relocation site in Jiangdang township, Sangzhuzi district，Shigatse.
On September 8, 2015, Yu Zhengsheng, who was a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, led the Central Committee delegation to attend the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of TAR. He presented the congratulatory plaque of General Secretary Xi Jinping to TAR which wriiten, "Strengthening National Unity and Building a Beautiful Tibet."
